Electroid
Electroid has been producing magnetic clutches and brakes for nearly five decades. They offer a full line of clutches, brakes, failsafe brake, brake/clutch combinations, reversing drives and servo fit brakes. Electriods SSB brakes come in NEMA 23, 34, and 42 sizes to mount directly to the output shaft of a stepper or servo motor. These failsafe brakes are zero backlash, IP65 and withstand high torque, high speeds and low inertia. They are available in either 24 or 90 VDC.
